TOTAALLEVERANCIER VOOR IRRIGATIE & BEREGING EN POMPEN VAN DOSATRON
Meteobot is a reliable assistant – for you and your agronomist. Stop spending time and money exploring fields or fields every day. With this smart measuring station, conditions in fields and acreage can be easily monitored on a mobile device – in real time. Moreover, the Meteobot® App provides a 10-day weather forecast for different locations. This enables the user to make informed decisions about crops and field activities.
Which chemicals through which dosing pump?
This is not always easy and quick to answer, as there are so many different agents! Feel free to email us, we can advise for any remedy based on an MDS or Safety Data sheet (we always need the CAS numbers and PH value). Send these to office@vehaplastics.nl and you will know very quickly.
For maintenance on a Dosatron pump, please refer to the maintenance page.
The Meteobot weather station is an advanced system for accurate and real-time weather monitoring, available in four versions: Mini, Pro, Maxi and Ground. Each variant is equipped with sensors for temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind and soil moisture, tailored to specific needs. The Mini is compact and ideal for basic needs, while the Pro offers extensive sensor capabilities for agriculture. The Maxi offers advanced functions for complex meteorological analysis, and the Ground focuses on detailed soil moisture monitoring. These stations are designed for easy use, reliable and provide data crucial for precision agriculture and weather management.

Meteobot®, the smart weather station, has many useful features that make precision farming very easy to achieve. We have briefly listed them.
The Meteobot weather station is expandable with the following additional sensors:
– Leaf moisture sensor;
– Solar radiation sensor;
– Wind direction sensor upgrade (if a wind speed sensor is ordered);
– Soil moisture sensor at additional depth;
– Sensor for volumetric water content in soil.
Meteobot® can be equipped with up to 3 soil moisture sensors. These can be installed at different depths (e.g. 30, 60 and 90 cm). This gives you information not only about the topsoil, but also about deep soil layers, from which plants get moisture during dry periods.
Weather data from the field or orchard can be automatically fed into disease models, which can generate plant disease risk predictions.
How do these models work?
The models include rules and algorithms obtained from scientific research and many field trials. These rules and algorithms take into account rain, temperature, humidity, leaf moisture, solar radiation, etc. For example, wheat and barley models contain built-in information on phenological stages of plant development and yield risk. Disease resistance (or tolerance) of different crop varieties is also incorporated in the models.
Based on all these characteristics, the models provide a dynamic prediction of the expected time and degree of infection risk. The aim is to spray only when necessary and with the most appropriate product.
How do these models help?
– Spray only if and when necessary. – Choose the most appropriate product. – Avoid resistance. – Less stress in busy periods. – Integrated crop protection. – Bio-production. – Wider use of contact or generic products.
